Mission
The mission of the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion is to provide programmatic and thought leadership, expertise, and advocacy to continue to promote the Institute’s diverse student initiatives, programs, and efforts that facilitate our collective goal of student diversity and inclusion.
The Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion connects diverse students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community stakeholders in programmatic and research opportunities across disciplines to improve student performance and outcomes related to our strategic plan.
Objectives
- To create an environment of inclusion where all Georgia Tech students can excel academically, interact across cultures and perspectives, and value diversity.
- To increase the synergies of all Georgia Tech student diversity and inclusion offices/initiatives, personnel, and programs in order to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the overall efforts and resources of Georgia Tech and Institute Diversity.
- To engage and attract a diverse population of students through strategic outreach, preparation, and recruitment programs that aid and enable Georgia Tech in continued evolution and development of a community of excellence.
- To connect students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community stakeholders through efficient and effective programs, projects, networks, and research.
